Deep Processing of Color-Coated Sheets

Forming Processing

1. Edge Folding/Bending: Use a bending machine to bend color-coated sheets at specified angles. It is applied to manufacturing locking seams of roof panels, door frames, and edges of boxes, and is the most widely used deep processing method in the construction and sheet metal industries.
2. Roll Forming: Adopt continuous roll forming units to roll color-coated sheets into profiles with specific cross-sections, such as corrugated sheets, sandwich panel facings, and C/Z-shaped steel purlins. It is extensively used in the enclosure systems of steel structure buildings.
3. Stamping: Perform blanking, stretching and forming on color-coated sheets with molds. It can produce special-shaped components including home appliance casings (refrigerator and washing machine panels), automotive interior parts, and distribution box housings.
4. Rolling: Roll color-coated sheets into cylindrical or arc shapes, which are used for manufacturing ventilation ducts, storage tank shells, and curved roof components.

Precision Cutting

1. Slitting: Slit wide-width color-coated coil sheets into small rolls of different narrow widths according to customer requirements, facilitating subsequent processing or direct application in the production of narrow-width components.
2. Cut to Length: Uncoil color-coated coil sheets and shear them into flat sheets of fixed lengths, meeting the needs of flat-panel application scenarios (e.g., billboard base plates and equipment countertops).
3. Laser/Plasma Cutting: Adopt laser or plasma technology for high-precision cutting of thick-gauge color-coated sheets or special-shaped parts. It can process complex patterns and irregular shapes, and is suitable for customized component production.

Surface Post-treatment

1. Laminating/Film Coating: Apply PE protective films or decorative films on the surface of color-coated sheets to prevent surface scratches during transportation and installation, or enhance the surface's wear resistance and fingerprint resistance.
2. Printing/Embossing: Use printing machines or embossing rollers to create decorative patterns such as wood grain and stone grain on the surface of color-coated sheets, improving the appearance and texture. It is mostly used for indoor decorative panels.
3. Lamination: Compound color-coated sheets with thermal insulation materials (e.g., rock wool and polyurethane) to produce color steel sandwich panels. These panels have both decorative and thermal insulation properties, and serve as core materials for building exterior walls and roofs.
